...can we take the back-and-forths to IRC. talk@ is the most important communication channel for OSM and it's very rapidly becoming unreadable - all the "I said", "no you said", "no I meant", "no you meant". I've spoken to a handful of people in the last few days who have unsubscribed from talk@ as a result of this.
