I have a group of volunteers who will be mapping on Jan. 30 and am wondering: 1.) If there is any more up-to-date needs for mapping than the general requests on the wiki; 2.) If there are any plans to develop a more comprehensive ticketing system than what is suggested on the wiki (essentially monitoring CrisisMappers); and 3.) What is the best way to avoid duplicating efforts? I am aware of two other groups that may be mapping this weekend and would like to find a way to coordinate among groups.
This is my first posting so I apologize if this isn’t the appropriate forum. I’ve been doing my best to come up to speed via the wiki and the listserv but I’ve still got a long way to go… Best, Shadrock Roberts On Wed, Jan 27, 2010 at 10:30 AM, <[email protected]> wrote: > Send talk mailing list submissions to > [email protected] > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > [email protected] > > You can reach the person managing the list at > [email protected] > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of talk digest..." > > > Today's Topics: > > 1.
