Dear everybody Nice to see that some actually read the original post before replying, in an effort to keep on subject.
Interesting to see that nobody seems to object strongly to the (manual) edits I have already done with *ways* tagged with highway=ford. Now all those ways show up in all(?) renderers and are routeable. I do hope that is for the better. Now I ask for a simple yes or no or better alternatives for changing the tagging scheme for a few k *nodes*.
