However your CleanMap shows that there is a lot of hope for both
although there is still a massive amount of work to be done.
Since Cleanmap doesn't include any nodes that will be lost, it's more
like looking through way-colored glasses. It also doesn't show any
intermediate edits, which GREATLY minimizes the effect in areas like the
U.S. where most roads started out as imports.
Despite this, you can still see major damage in some areas, such as
South Carolina, where a "bad" mapper split ways to create bridges:
