Remember my app should work offline, so it can't query webservices. I've found posts like these: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9486581/proximity-search-google-map http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9094587/how-to-get-the-nearby-cities-of-a-citygeonameid-in-python and it seems to be possible to find the close locations to certain point doing some trignometry (my math is not that great though) . The thing is I'm developing my app with Rhomobile, which uses sqlite as database backend, and it doesn't support that math. Do you think there's another way to do this? Thanks again! Rama
