In some cases, address interpolation may produce addresses that don't exist on the ground. My parents lived for years on a street that has several sharp turns. In order to keep the addresses more-or-less in sync between the two sides of the street, a number of potential house numbers were skipped at the inside of the sharp turns. -- John F.
