This wastes a lot of time and is not an activity I like. It was not announced on our local mailing list talk-ch. For the above reason, and reasons mentioned in other posts, I fully support the good work of the DWG. If people go ahead irresponsibly they should be sent back in order to keep OSM a place to contribute, and not just fix data dumps.
