Ich habe keine /etc/hostname. ls -l liefert

in der /bin/hostname steht nur hex kram. lohnt nicht hier zu schreiben.
in der /etc/hosts steht
127.0.0.1 localhost 192.168.1.11 otto
dazu muss man sagen das unser computer halt otto heißt. aber meiner meinung nach dürfte da trotzdem nicht 127.0.0.1 stehen.
/etc/resolv.conf ist:
search otto local # search otto otto otto otto otto otto otto otto nameserver 127.0.0.1 nameserver 212.185.253.9 nameserver 194.25.2.129 # nameserver 192.168.1.1 # nameserver 127.0.0.1 # nameserver 217.5.99.9 # nameserver 127.0.0.1 # nameserver 127.0.0.1
# ppp temp entry
der 217.0.0.1 wird immer wieder automatisch in die resolv.conf eingetragen, da kann man nichts machen.
