Hello,
When I travel, and have to turn the phone off and back on again,
it will not stay with the crrrect time, even with automatic set
to on, I have to go to the settings and tell automatic update to
reset.
Then, it will give me the updated and correct time and date.

just got back from Washington DC last Sunday with my wife and my

I have this issue, and I have had nokia look at it and they do
not know what
the problem is.
So, when I turn mine off, and back on, I just go to the clock and
choose
settings and automatic update, and it cures the settings.

Yes i would remove the battery and put it back in. I from time
to time have
this issue. On this phone. If removing the battery doesn't fix
it, then i
turn the phone face down and tap it a few times. So far it has
fixed the
issue the two or three times i have had this issue. This trick
may or may
not work on your phone. After all, it is a different model.

Make sure that the sim card is staying put. Also the internal
battery for
the clock and such could be going bad.

My N82 will not hold the date and time.
If my phone is turned off, and then turned back on I am presented
with edit
fields to set the date and time.
This has just started happening.
I checked the clock settings, but couldn't see anything there to
change or
save.
Should I try removing the battery?
There doesn't seem to be anything else wrong.
Yesterday, I had a loss of speech, but when I turned the phone
back on it
was fine.
