Yes you can freely switch between voices no matter what the speed is set to.

Hi, just wondering, if I have Karen on speed 9 on my n85, can I then go back
to eloquence if I want to at a later time while the speed is set to speed 9?
Or will it stuff up the phone.

Regards,
Emma Taylor

Kit

I have no trouble with the Talks dictionary. I avhe added mgr. to say
Manager. This works fine for the VCM voice Karen. My file manager is in the
folder Tools.

So I would say more then likely you are not entering the text correctly or
you have one or both of the fields at the bottom for Ignoreing case/full
words set incorrectly. I'm betting it is the ignore case options that is
incorrect.

What you should have in the dictionary.
1. Text: mgr.
2. Replacement: Manager
3. Application Menu or it may say nothing. Press right arrow to get to the
proper application for the entry.
4. Whole words only: NO
5. Ignore case: Yes.

Hardware eventually fails, software eventually works.
No amount of bandwidth can fix poor design.
