I am not sure but I don't think talks will read RTF files. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Griffith" <[email protected]> To: "'Talks Mailing List'" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, September 09, 2010 6:33 PM Subject: [Talks] Office viewer on N86
I downloaded the Microsoft office viewer via the Office application on the N86. The main reason is that I have a number of scanned books in rtf format that it would be useful to read directly on the N86. Unless I am missing something though the office Viewer application on the N86 is not fully accessible with Talks software. Specifically I do not appear to be able to get speech feedback on file navigation to open the desired rtf file. At the moment I an only using the option key and selecting save / open option Is there a way of using the office viewer with Talks or alternatively is there a freeware application that can read rtf files? Regards David Griffith I am not that bothered about editing files at the moment as I am likely to do this more on a key board and there appears to be an adequate supply of free text and note options available for making notes. . __________ Information from ESET Smart Security, version of virus signature database 5438 (20100909) __________ The message was checked by ESET Smart Security. http://www.eset.com _______________________________________________ Talks mailing list [email protected] http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/ _______________________________________________ Talks mailing list [email protected] http://lists.talksusers.com/mailman/listinfo/talks Hosting of this list provided courtesy of: eHosting Limited: http://www.ehosting.com/ and Talknav Inc. http://www.talknav.net/
