Ok I know when it's connected via cable and pc suite is running jaws says
sms message or something very similar like when the talks license comes in
if your phone is connected. So it seems pc suite knows you have received a
message, this is what got me wondering. When Stephen helped me out earlier
every time a text message came in my laptop which is connected to the phone
via bluetooth made a soft pop noise similar to the balloon noise windows
makes.

Bernard, to answer your original issue I don't think the text message from
the phone is stored on your PC. I think what you are perhaps hearing is PC
suite telling you the phone is connected or not connected when for example
the connection is lost.
