Hi, Not having any problems with the N86 at all. Other than a slight scratch on the back plate it's good as new.
The E5 sounds like it'll fit the bill, and I particularly like the long standby time. If Talks works on it and Ovi Maps works, that's all I need, but as Saqib said the GPS receiver is better, than that's an added bonus for me. May I recommend the Nokia E5. It will set you back about £150. It's a qwerty keypad phone and the battery life is excelent. I can get 2 days out of it on heavy use. If I'm navogating all day then it's best to charge the phone up in the evening. The internal GPS is as good as I've ever seen as I've haven't used my external GPS receiver since purchasing this phone.
