no, the softkey1 and softkey2 is touch virtual keys, the only physical buttons are: - power key (at the top) - green call and red end call keys. - home (menu) key. - calendar key. - contact and email key. - volume keys. - mute key. - lock/unlock key. -- Cheers, Allan (WKF) "Life is impermanent, happiness is not a necessity, a person must cherish the people around them." ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kit" <[email protected]> To: "Talks Mailing List" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, July 14, 2011 13:45 Subject: Re: [Talks] Nokia E6. Hi Denise, Before your friend comes in, perhaps, you might want to download the latest Nokia firmware updater. From Steven's pass posting, updating the program to the latest will download and install latest drivers and what not needed for your phone to get it connected via pc suite as well. Oh, the menu, Softkey 1 and 2 and all, same like E72 and not E5, this is great. This means that the power button is also on top and not on end call key? By default, the mode connected should be pc suite even if you never select it. Of course, the date problem is something we cannot solve. All the best. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Denise Thompson" <[email protected]> To: "Talks Mailing List" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, July 14, 2011 12:58 PM Subject: Re: [Talks] Nokia E6. The E6 looks almost exactly like an E72. So for anyone who's seen that you have an idea of what the E6 looks like. I'm very frustrated at the moment because I can't install talks on it to see how it's going to work. PC Suite keeps saying my phone is connected in a noncompatible mode so it won't let me install any apps. I think that's probably I don't know which is the PC suite mode to click on. And I don't know if I was able to set the date correctly or at least a date after the phone came out anyway. So I'll have to wait till morning when I have a friend coming over. Sighted friends do come in handy once in a while. It's frustrating to have to admit we need them sometimes, but there it is.
