stephen,
honestly speaking, nothing had change on my phone prior to install this latest
update. but however i do agree to you that this is
not feature of caller ID, but this is happen when nuance introduce talks does
not silance/muted during phone call in this latest
version.

Does the issue still happen when the phone is locked? This doesn't sound like
the full caller ID thing of Talks beings the phone
continues ringing. If it was that function the phone would not continue to ring
after it was spoken. So nothing to do with the
automation tab of Talks. Perhaps it is just reading the screen when it changes.
Have you tried changing the theme to see if that
makes any difference? Just two things to try.

hi stephen,
i know how to differentiate between the caller ID announcement between talks
and the phone profile. this is indeed speak by talks
and this does not happen in talks 5.20. the ringtone start for about 2 seconds
and stopped for the caller ID announcement and the
ringtone comes back after the announcement.

Does the phone continue to ring when the caller ID information is being
spoken Allan? If so, then this isn't Talks. This is in the profile settings
and the SayName function is probably turned on.
