That's just what you get with digest -- a concatenation or collection of all
messages received during the day, complete with all headers and threads. I
never use digest for that very reason. Easier to step through subject in the
inbox and read/delete as desired.

Subject: [Talks] Reading the Talks Group Emails.

Dear List Members! I really enjoy reading all the mails and have learned a
lot about Talks and related topics. I am a bit surprised about the format of
the emails I get. The format is not very conducive for use with Talks. Let
me try and explain.
The emails can be recieved individually or in Digest mode. I chose the
latter. Reason- I get all emails together. My inbox is not filled with the
List mails. i get all mails in one package. So far so good. Now When I start
to have talks read the mails, the format is very tedious. It takes forever.
. . . This is because every message comes with the trailing message. So I
have to hear the same mails many times. Also I cannot move from one topic to
another quickly. I have to scroll forever to get past all the email headers,
footers and the rest of email jargon before I read the actual message! And
after all that, the message may be just "Thanks" or "I agree".
Can we not get the emails with a kind of conversation format? No repeats and
no extra stuff. Just the name of the sender followed by the message. This
could be like a "chat" screen. This would make for much faster reading by
Talks. It would also maintain continuity of the topic thread.
Can anyone help? Or am I not doing something right? Help please.
Many blessings!
