Since I am receiving so many requests for information, I am once again posting a list of room rental possibilities. I am not an agent unless you want to pay me a fee to find a place for you, so you should contact these people directly about a room. I recommend you write at least four months in advance to book a room, or as soon as you know the exact dates of your visit to BsAs.
Classified ads in the Buenos Aires Herald have many apartments for short-term rentals. www.buenosairesherald.com Nora Distilo rents rooms in her large home on Independencia. see www.casatango.com.ar or write her at [email protected] Great location and for $150/week for a single, $200/double, you won't find a better place. Tango guest house in Belgrano. see www.interlog.com/~elshaw/tght.html or write [email protected] Tango Guesthouse in San Telmo see www.ssdnet.com.ar/tangoguesthouse or write [email protected] Carolina Zokalski and Diego Di Falco rent out their apartment in my neighborhood, but it's booked through March. Her mother has another apartment next to theirs that she is renting out to one person or a couple. write Carolina at [email protected] Nestor Ray and Patricia have a room in their apartment to rent. Write Patricia at [email protected] (currently on tour in Europe). Please do me and yourself a favor and save this message if you are thinking about a visit to Buenos Aires in the next year. A recommendation: If you don't speak Spanish, start studying so you will enjoy your visit more. Many people speak English, but as the saying goes, "when in Rome, do as the Romans do." The language of Buenos Aires is Spanish. Be prepared. Janis Kenyon
