Cacho Dante, one of Buenos Aires' true milongueros, has been dancing tango
for over 41 years and was there during the last years of the golden era of
tango in the 1950s. During the last eight years, Cacho has taught the close
embrace or "milonguero" style not only in Buenos Aires, but also during
annual tours through Europe and the United States. Being a "pureblooded"
milonguero and having developed a precise teaching method is the combination
that makes Cacho an exceptional tango teacher. In tribute to his reputation
as a dance, Cacho has appeared in the film "The Tango Lesson" and is
featured in the documentary film "Chasing the Ghost" which is currently in
production.
All classes will be held at Salon Pavadita, 2714 1/2 Greenville Avenue. To
