GROUP AND PRIVATE CLASSES WITH GACHI AND SERGIO:
Gachi Fernandez and Sergio Cortazzo, two of the most elegant young stars of
tango's new generation, will teach classic salon style tango, tango vals and
milonga on the weekend of Dec. 8, 9 & 10 in Los
Angeles. This will be their last workshop of this year.

Gachi Fernandez and Sergio Cortazzo are one of Argentina's top young
professional tango couples. They have toured the world in several
productions, including "Tango X 2," "Una Noche de Tango" and "Tangokinesis,"
and they perform frequently at La Ventana and Casa Blanca in Buenos Aires.
Gachi trained as a classical ballerina and in modern and folkloric dance.
She started dancing tango at the age of 15, going to the tango clubs and
dancing with the old "milongueros." Sergio is trained in both classical and
modern dance. They have danced together since 1992, and have studied tango
with Gustavo Naveira, Esther and Mingo Pugliese, Pepito Avellaneda, Pocho
Pizarro and Antonio Todaro, among others. They teach frequently in Japan and
Europe, as well as in Buenos Aires. They are known for their meticulous

Naveira has said, "Gachi and Sergio ARE the tango."
