SALON RECUERDO SCHEDULE FOR THE REST OF 2000: Salon Recuerdo, L.A.'s Thursday night milonga, will be open this Thursday, December 7 and December 28. We will be closed on Dec. 14 and 21 for the holidays. This Thursday, December 7, our Jack and Jill Tango Contest continues (only three preliminary qualifying rounds left!). Enter and try to win a free trip to Buenos Aires! Congratulations to last week's semi-finalists, Megan Reisel and Eiichi Ito! They will join our other semi-finalists, Oscar Spear, Yoko Nakajima, Darwin Bayerkohler, Brenda Ferreira, Howard Barsky and Ana Maria Menendez to compete on January 11 and 18th to determine our final winners. Salon Recuerdo is located at the Culver City Masonic Lodge, 9635 Venice Blvd., between Motor Ave. and Bagley/Main Sts., in Los Angeles. $10 per person includes introductory class at 8 p.m., refreshments and milonga (tango dance party) from 9 - midnight.
