Let me add another name to the list of lodgings in BA. For several years my friends and I have stayed with a lovely woman named Maria Teresa Lopez who has a 5 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath apartment in the residential area of Caballito, quite near many of the milongas. The apartment is near buses and the subte and on her block there are restaurants, grocery store, liquor store, bakery, sewing shop, and misc. On the next block there is a cybercafe. The apartment is quiet and comfortable, kitchen, laundry, phone are included and since Maria speaks many languages she is able to help you with anything you might need, including steering you to the right places to dance.
