The government of the city of Buenos Aires has organized free classes in many locations (tango schools, milongas, plazas and parks) from January 12 until the end of February which will precede the Third Festival Buenos Aires Tango, Feb 28-Mar 4. If you will be in Buenos Aires during this time, you will want to obtain a copy of the schedule when you arrive.

From February 28th to March 4th the city and tango will have their own celebration for all the neighbors and world visitors to enjoy. On this occasion, dance will be the star. With the special appearance of Miguel Angel Zotto, godfather of the Festival, the rhythm of tango will roam Buenos Aires, lighting with its presence open air stages, cafes and milongas. The preparation begin on January 12-February 28. More than 150 teachers have been invited by Miguel Angel Zotto to give more than 400 classes so as to initiate all those enthused participants who willing to learn their first tango steps. There will be open classes with free admission and they have take place at cultural centers and milongas in different neighborhoods around the city. As in former editions, Buenos Aires Tango will meet an excellent agenda of free concerts at various sites around the city with the participation of renowned artists and new personalities of our city music.
