The Tango Belt, New Orleans’s premier tango organization, is proud to present Guillermina Quiroga and Roberto Reis is a special engagement to kick off the Tango Belt’s Summer Tango Festival. Master classes will be given on Sunday, May 20, 2001 from 11AM to 3PM at Le Chat Noir. No partner is required, and same sex couples are welcome. Guillermina and Roberto are stars from the Broadway hit, Forever Tango, and also toured the world with Julio Iglesias. Most recently, Guillermina starred in last year’s production of Tango Argentino on Broadway. By many, Guillermina is regarded as the finest tango dancer on stage or in a dance hall, anywhere in the world. May 20, she and Roberto will lead a series of classes to share their deep knowledge and insight about this passionate and exciting dance.
