Help Tango Orchestras and/or Friends of a Tango Orchestra, Thursday-Sunday, Oct 18-21, 2001, Portland will host it's 5th annual October TangoFest. This event concludes with a milonga at the Crystal Ballroom which has a 7500 sq ft sprung dance floor.
Orchestras which played in the past are New York Tango Rio, Tangatarea, and Tango Divino. The attendance has ranged between 400-600 dancers. We are looking for an orchestra which plays authentic Argentine tango dance music for this year's event (Sunday Oct 21, 2001).
