On December 13, Tango Fireworks 2002 issued a press release of their event
and elected to compare theirs to ours. We do not object to being compared
with other Tango Weeks; however, we do object when there are
misrepresentations (whether deliberate or not) and inaccuracies in the
comparative that is offered. We would like to set the record straight as to
the facts.

Tango Fireworks 2002 chose to selectively, albeit inaccurately, portray
NORA S TANGO WEEK 2002 in a negative tone vis a vis theirs. The following
are examples of these errors of commission and omission.

PROGRAM AND PRICE COMPARISON FOR FULL PACKAGE:
While comparing Tango Fireworks (Full Package) June 28 through July 6 with
NORA S TANGO WEEK (Full Package), June 28 through July 5 they indicated
that we have only 28 classes while in fact we have 32 classes.

Tango Fireworks has two milongas with live music, while NORA S TANGO
WEEK/WEEKEND has live music at all eight milongas.

Whereas Tango Fireworks calls their closing night a Masters Show and
NORA S TANGO WEEK calls it a Masters Exhibition, it is clearly a matter of
semantics as they are one and the same. While it is true NORA S TANGO WEEK
does not have a dinner, it could have been pointed out (but was omitted)
that the cost of the hotel for NORA S TANGO WEEK is $36, plus tax, per
night cheaper than the hotel for Tango Fireworks a total savings of over
$300 for the eight days. You can buy a lot of dinners with $300.

While Tango Fireworks provided the cost per day for the Weekend Packages,
the cost per day for the Full Packages were omitted. For a true comparison
of prices we have outlined below the cost per day for the Full Package for
each event. Please keep in mind that NORA S TANGO WEEK s Full Package is
eight full days of classes (32) while Tango Firework s Full Package is for
ONLY 6 1/2 days of classes (26).

COMPARATIVE COST BREAKDOWN OF FULL PACKAGE:

Tango Fireworks Full Package (6 1/2 days of classes):
Early Bird Registration: $589 or $90 + per day
Regular Registration: $689 or $106 per day

NORA S TANGO WEEK Full Package (8 full days of classes):
Early Bird Registration: $685 or $85+ per day
Regular Registration: $725 or $96+ per day

THE SAVINGS ARE CLEAR, BOTH IN THE FULL PACKAGE AND THE OVER $300 IN HOTEL
SAVINGS.

PROGRAM AND PRICE COMPARISON FOR WEEKEND PACKAGE:
While comparing Tango Fireworks (Weekend Package) July4 through July 6,
with NORA S TANGO WEEK (Weekend Package), June 28 through June 30, they
indicated that we have only 8 classes while in fact we have 12 classes.
Apparently they are representing our Weekend Package as only two days,
while in fact, it is three full days. This is compared to Tango Fireworks
(Weekend Package) which is only 2 1/2 days with only 10 classes.

COMPARATIVE COST BREAKDOWN OF WEEKEND PACKAGE:

Tango Fireworks Weekend Package (2 1/2 days of classes):
Early Bird Registration: $415 or $135 per day
Regular Registration: $465 or $155 per day

NORA S TANGO WEEK Weekend Package (3 full days of classes):
Early Bird Registration: $305 or $101+ per day:
Regular Registration: $335 or $111+ per day

THE SAVINGS ARE CLEAR, BOTH IN THE WEEKEND PACKAGE AND THE OVER $100 IN
HOTEL SAVINGS.

The Tango Fireworks news release reflects a dinner and show at the end of
their Full Package and a dinner and show at the end of their Weekend
Package, while emphasizing that no dinner is served at NORA S TANGO WEEK s
Exhibitions. Are we to assume that there will be a dinner and a Show at the
end of each Tango Firework s Package, even though the two packages end on
the same night? If not, then this comparison is misleading. It should be
noted that there are TWO Masters Exhibitions during NORA S TANGO WEEK
(albeit both without dinner), one on June 30 which ends our Weekend Package
and the other on July 5 which ends our Full Package.

Another comparison that should be noted is the deposit. Tango Fireworks
requires a $150 deposit per person while NORA S TANGO WEEK requires a $100
deposit per person. More importantly, our early-bird registration extends
through April 30, 2002, a full four months longer than Tango Fireworks
date of December 31, 2001. We provide ample time for the participants of
NORA S TANGO WEEK/WEEKEND to take advantage of our lower rate.

It should also be pointed out that Tango Fireworks gives you only two
options: the Full Package and the Weekend Package. NORA S TANGO WEEK 2002
provides you with three options: the Weekend Package, June 28   June 30;
the Week Package, July 1 July 5; and the Full Package, June 28 July 5.

At NORA'S TANGO WEEK/WEEKEND, the cultural aspects of Tango are emphasized.
There are five one-hour bonus classes where the history of Tango is
addressed. These classes are not included in the 32 scheduled classes. In
addition, every day at the conclusion of classes, students assemble for a
"Chamuyo" or discussion session with some of the faculty members. The
instructors speak about their personal experiences with tango and the
milonga scene in Buenos Aires, followed by a question and answer session.

The objective of the above clarifications are solely for the purpose of
correcting erroneous information and is not intended in any way to portray
Tango Fireworks in a negative light as we know very well the work entailed
in organizing and promoting a Tango event of this magnitude.
