Wings Theatre in New York City is producing a new musical titled "Tango
Masculino." It's set in a Buenos Aires brothel in 1910 and includes a great
deal of Tango. The play is an evocative look at masculine identity in the
underworld lunfardo and marica subcultures of the period - as Tango was in
its formative stage.

We're looking for dancers, actors, singers and 3 or 4 strolling tango
musicians (some combination of Bandoneon, Guitar, Flute, Violin & Harp).
The production runs from April 4 through May 4. We're a small, off-off
Broadway non-profit company and this is not a paid gig -- there is only a
small expense stipend for performers. It's the sort of thing to do for fun,
for experience, because you like the project -- but definitely not for the
money.

I was hoping you might be able to post the information anywhere appropriate
or pass the word along to anyone you think might be interested. My contact
information is below, along with a copy of the casting notice that will
appear in next week's Backstage Magazine.

Many thanks.
