Master teachers, Alberto Paz and Valorie Hart of Planet Tango return to Albuquerque for an Argentine Tango Weekend. Their pedagogy is based on the teachings of the legendary masters who developed the structure of movements for social dancing in the late 1930¹s and early 1940¹s. Their talent and knowledge is reflected in a purely improvised style of dancing that is elegant, smooth and creative. They are unique in their dedication, generosity and zest for teaching Tango, Vals and Milonga. As instructors they have a gift for empowering each dancer with the necessary knowledge to build confidence, understanding, and mastering of the dance of Tango. As a native of Argentina, Alberto is able to blend the cultural diversities of different worlds into a universal expression of body language which affords a sense of authenticity with a personal touch to each and every dancer. Alberto and Valorie will be available for private and semi-private lessons (one to six students per lesson) Friday and Monday. Cost is $100/hour for up to four people, $120/hour for up to six people.
