Enjoy the variety. Relax. Find a partner to work with on some challenge. Join other nuts in clever and fun exercises to perfect your technique. Learn new moves, leverage old ones. Coax a stubborn ingredient into regular use. Prepare to break into the milonga scene, if you are new at this. Look for a friendly "sponsor", if you need one. Etc, etc. Why Mariela's Practica at La Nacional? Well ... If you are short of fingers to count the superlative "professores de tango" who live or visit here, you must count Mariela in as early as possible! She will be there with her powerful diagnostic and fine polishing tools. Like Gardel's singing, her teaching gets better every day. Yet she, being A LOT younger than Gardel, can actually answer your questions, and give you individual attention. For those who must get into the "alpha group" ... or stay in it ... this is an incredible deal, and the most fun while :) ;) :) practicing reigning in the night. Oh yes, and, in spite of the high quality, this is not a snotty practice, nor the amateur hour. (Come help keep it this way.)
