TANGO FIESTA, SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE: Sept. 29-Oct. 7, 2002
WITH EL INDIO. TEACHER! Best $$$ deal of the Year!! There are so many fiestas
in San Miguel de Allende this time of year. San Miguel has the Pamplonada, or
"running of the bulls" on Sept. 21. San Miguel day is Sept.29. All these
fiestas commence Sept. 15th, with the celebration of Mexican Independence
Day. The world famous Cervantino festival in Guanajuato is Nov. 9-25th. Too
many fiestas, too little time...
The cost will be $240 for the week of classes and two or three milongas, but
two for sure in local, beautiful restaurants. Also a picnic, hot springs
visit, and more.Cost for a couple will be $420. We will give discounts for a
group of five that includes at least two men. Hotels and B&B's will cost
about $25 a day to $100. (with breakfast, and at "The Swiss House", it will
also include lunch.) Your hotel needs to paid
SEPARATELY. This rate is until Aug. 20th, Late price FOR SINGLE WOMEN after
that date, the fee will $275 to help cover the cost of men as extra dancers.
For others it will be $260, or $440 a couple.
Mariana may come, but only if there are 28 people registered. We need 18
people registered infull by Aug.20 at $240 rate to make this event happen.
IT'S A SPONTANEOUS KIND OF EVENT, but it sure will be great if we get our
group!
Call Woody at the Santa Fe number to give your credit card. You will get
everything back in full in case we cancel the event. Snail mail will take too
long for checks.
