Oscar Mandagaran will be starting private classes at the Berkeley Tango
Studio on Sunday July 13th and will be here until August 6th.
 This week he will be giving the following classes:

Before the Verdi 7th Anniversary milonga on Thursday,  July 17th, 7-8:30
p.m.

On Saturday, July 19th 10:30 p.m. to midnight  he will be teaching a
workshop before the Metronome All Night milonga entitled "Image and
Metaphor: getting to the heart and soul of Argentine tango."
On Sunday, July 20th he will be giving two more workshops at the Metronome,
3-4:30 "Dancing the pauses: dynamic and emotional punctuation in tango
language"
4:45 - 6:15 p.m. "Dancing to the great orchestras: d'Arienzo, Pugliese,
Canaro, and Piazzola"

On July 22nd starts the 3 Tuesday evening series for Advanced Salon Tango at
the Lake Merritt Dance Center, 200 Grand Ave. Oakland.
July 22
7-8:30  Advanced technique including clarity and sensuality fo movement,
maintaining the correct posture and axis in levantadas, llevadas and
barridas
8:45-10:15 p.m.   Boleos lead and follow, keeping the axis.
$30 per workshop, or $160 for entire series of 6 with pre-payment.
