Paulo is here!  This is his schedule for the coming week:

Saturday Sept 6th he will be teaching the class before the Grand Opening of
Ken and Natasha's new Tango SOMA milonga, 8-9:30 p.m. "Dancing in close
embrace", 19 Heron St., SF.  Milonga will follow with live music from
Marcelo Puig and Bocha Lopez.  Workshop $20, milonga $13, both for only $25.

Sunday Sept 7th at the Tango Studio in Berkeley, two classes especially for
leaders:
7:30 p.m. The comfortable lead/close embrace/dissociation of torso and hip/
leading without pushing or pulling
9 p.m. Leading with musicality and rhythm/leading ochos and giros
Each workshop $25. Pre-registration required,  email: [email protected].

Wednesday Sept 10th at the Tango Studio, two classes especially for
followers:
7:30 p.m. Ochos and giros without losing balance, without moving the
shoulders, and maintaining consistent height.  Special work in pivoting and
dissociation of torso from hip.
9 p.m.  Embellishments born of natural foot placement, integrated into the
dance with musicality.

Thursday Sept 11th at Mariposa Tango Club, 2424 Mariposa, SF.
Teaching beginning and intermediate classes before the milonga 7-8:30 p.m.
Milonga to follow.  Milonga hosted by Victor and Christy.  Contact Christy

Saturday Sept 13th at the Lake Merritt Dance Center, 200 Grand Ave., Oakland
Series B: Getting Deeper into Tango
1 p.m.             Breathtaking boleos, lead and follow
2:30 p.m .       Ganchos and wraps
4 p.m.             Sacadas for leaders and followers
$25/workshop.

Sunday Sept 14th at the Tango Studio, Berkeley
1st of two introductory classes to tango
10:30-11:45 a.m.

Private lesson time is still available, but 90% is already taken.  Sorry,
the early bird gets the Paulo.    $75/hour + $10/hr studio rental fee.
