We are looking for a group of 5 - 10 women that would
be interested in joining us on the first ever,
exclusively for women tango tour to Buenos Aires,
Argentina.

After living in Buenos Aires for the last year, I
recognized the need for a tour company that caters to
women only. Ana Lma and I have heard many women
complain of Buenos Aires tango tours or festivals: the
classes are geared towards teaching men floor patterns
and little on women's technique, the tour operators
cram in too many activities which leave the women
exhausted at the end of the day, and the milongas are
overcrowded with tourists and festival-goers leaving
little room for good dancing. All in all, they
scarcely get a glimpse of the real Buenos Aires.

Ana Lma and I want to change all that. After falling
in love with tango in the United States, I finally
made the pilgrimage down to Argentina. Through months
of living there and help from native Argentine friends
like Ana Lma, I learned with whom to take lessons,
which milongas to go to and on which nights, which men
to dance with, where to get the best shoes made, where
to shop, where to get the best coffee and desserts,
where to get my hair and nails done, where to get the
best leather jackets made, how to get around
effectively, and more. I have made Buenos Aires my
home away from home as well as improved my tango
incredibly.

It is now our dream to share this with you to share
our knowledge and experience so that you can make your
time in Buenos Aires count.

We will be starting a company, Tanguera Tours, that is
for women only. We want to pamper you and uncover the
best of Buenos Aires while you enjoy the companionship
and support of other fun, energetic dancing women on
the tour. Our goal is to focus your tango studies on
the most fundamental and empowering techniques for us
as women dancers. We want to show you the Buenos Aires
that only the locals know. Discover the milongas and
tango culture from two veteran milonga dancers who
will show you the ropes so that an otherwise
intimidating situation turns into enjoyment and
possibilities.

Our tour is ten days long. It will include a two-hour
class in women s tango technique every day with the
option for adding private lessons. The classes will
be taught by internationally-renowned dancers. Also,
we will include basic stretching and general dance
classes where we will learn the strength and
flexibility of our bodies, the greatest tools in
becoming excellent dancers. Patterns do not matter to
women...we need balance, posture, and to walk in a
strong, grounded way.

And we cannot forget to enjoy Buenos Aires. We will
be taken to the best places to have shoes custom made,
old and famous cafis, local fairs and historical
sights, day trip excursions to the river and the old
port town of La Boca, our favorite restaurants, a
great tango show, to drink wine and listen to live
music, and of course the best milongas.

Our goal is to have your tango improve immensely,
reveal the tango culture and rituals, and to help you
enjoy to the fullest the true tanguera nightlife.

So if you are interested, we want to hear from you.
Please call or email us to find out more about prices.
We are offering a one time special price on our
first tour in December and are limiting our group to
ten people. So act soon!
