We are having an very exciting weekend of Tango in Tampa Bay on February 13, 14, and 15th. This event features two of the world's best Tango couples, Fernanda Ghi & Guillermo Merlo and Carolina Zokalski & Diego DiFalco, who will be teaching and performing. There will 4 milongas, 16 classes, and a Gala Dinner, Show, Milonga evening with Live Music.
And, of course, Tampa Bay is a GREAT place to visit in February! In fact, you might want to come for a couple of extra days to spend on the beach! The full details and some really nice photos can be seen on our website at http://www.tampatango.com The official weekend's activities begins on Friday, Feb 13th but we will also have a milonga on Thursday, Feb 12th for the pleasure of our out of town visitors. All of the classes and the Fri and Sat milonga will be at the Tampa Convention Center which is located on the edge of downtown Tampa, 333 South Franklin Street, Tampa Fl, 33602. We have also negotiated a special rate of $89/night at the Radisson Riverwalk Hotel which is just a couple of blocks away, right on the Hillsborough River, 200 North Ashley Drive, Tampa, FL 33602, Phone (813) 223-2222. The classes for the weekend will be divided into 8 intermediate and 8 advanced classes in two large classrooms. Each level will have 4 classes with each of our two couples. There will be 2 class sessions on Friday, starting at 6:30pm, and the milonga from 9:30pm - 2:00am. Saturday will have 2 class sessions starting at 11:00am and 2 sessions starting at 3:00pm, and the milonga from 9:00pm - 2:00am. Sunday will have 2 class sessions starting at 11:00am and the Gala Evening from 4:30pm - 11:30pm. The price for the entire weekend including all events is $255 if paid by Jan 23 ($295 after).
