We are a couple (Argentinian & Canadian), travelling to Italy in May. We arrive in Venice May 11 and leave from Rome June 3. From Venice we will travel by car, so our itinerary is not definite. At some point we will be in Naples and points south. We are passionate about tango and spend a lot of time in Buenos Aires, where we have many friends. We would love to stay with tangueros in Italy, or at least get some recommendations for inexpensive hotels (Venice and Rome particularly). We have been looking up the tango scene in Italy on the web, but would really appreciate up-to-the-minute recommendations for milongas.
We will also be in Amsterdam from May 7 to 11, and would really like to have some tango contacts there. In any case, we are really looking forward to meeting new tango friends, so even if you don't have any suggestions, we would love to hear from you in the next month.
