Hello Tango Lovers, This Wednesday March 24, 2004, is the GRAND RE-OPENING of our weekly Argentine Tango Wednesdays, at the Shandon Court Restaurant & Lounge, with a SHOWCASE PERFORMANCE and Beginner & Int./Adv. Argentine Tango dance lessons by a dynamic young Tango dancer NEY MELO and his lovely partner LIESL BOURKE, who we recently saw performing at La Belle Epoque in NYC and who are currently on the staff of the Stepping Out Dance Studio in NYC.
Ney Melo is a professional actor and Argentine Tango dancer, who has trained extensively in Buenos Aires with Roberto Herrera, "Chicho" Frumboli, Mingo Pugliese and others. Ney is currently on the staff of the Stepping Out dance studio in NYC and has recently performed at the Town Hall stage (in NYC) with cast members of the Broadway show "Forever Tango" as part of "Valetango", an Argentine Tango / modern dance company.
