Ney Melo is among the very best of a generation of young teachers/performers who are bringing vital energy to Argentine Tango. His style embraces the traditional tango while incorporating the modern techniques and steps. Currently, Ney teaches Argentine Tango at Stepping Out Studios in New York City. He also teaches at NYU, Hunter College, and Columbia/Barnard College. He has performed on Broadway’s Town Hall stage with cast members of “Forever Tango”, "Tango Argentino" and the orchestra Avantango, as well as in the British Embassies in Buenos Aires and Washington, DC. She studied tango in Buenos Aires with many of the greatest tango masters of our time, including Guillermina Quiroga, Milena Plebs, Julio Balmaceda and Corina de la Rosa, Chicho Frumboli, Pablo Veron, and Danel & Maria.
