Cruise Instructor: Victor H. Collins, Dance Instructor/Choreographer/Dancer

Victor began dance training at the age of 5 in Buenos Aires in Folkloric and traditional Argentinean Dances and began Music

training at the age of 7 learning acoustic guitar. Continuing dance training with various organizations including Ballet

Liavallol, Academia la Celeste, Juventud unida de Liavallol, La Polonesa, Club Independiente, Dolores Estudio de aite

Flanienco, Pena de Temperley, learning Argentinian Folklore, Basic Ftamenco Dances, Basic Ballet and Argentinean Tango. He

started to dance social Argentinean Tango at 12 years old (1955) and perform Argentine Tango in 1957. Victor was performing

all over Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Uniguay and due the obligatory Military Service in Argentina Victor was forced to

interrupt his performances in 1964. After Victor finished service in 1967 he continued with his other passion, Soccer, and

continued to performan, learning also theatre, tango history and more performance skills in the Academia del Tango Argentino

in Buenos Aires. In 1980 Victor moved to the USA and created the performance group ARGENTINA 2000, and started to teach South

and Central American Dances with special emphasis in the ARGENTINE TANGO.
