Hello All, Some corrections and updates to my first post several weeks ago.
The following is the schedule for the upcoming concerts/dances in San Francisco. Su is the Strictly Tango Band leader and this is the schedule she provided me. The events are free, sponsored by the business community in the financial district. The 101 California Street event is held in the plaza of a large office building, outdoors. This is always an outstanding event. After: Up the street a few blocks, across the street from the Bank of America Building, there is an beautiful outdoor eating alley (Beldon Street at Pine) with many restaurants serving on their outdoor tables. Fantastic for after event lunch. At least take a look - - I think you will want to have something to eat. Park at the Sutter Street garage near Union Square and then walk the several blocks to 101 California Street. I usually drop Ginger off in front of 101 California, park the car, and walk back - - saves her dancing feet. Alternately there are other parking garages in the area, one across from the Bank of America Building. Avoid the garages in the large office buildings unless you want to purchase your car back. The Market Street event is held in the outdoor courtyard of a major office building. There is a nice cafeteria in the office building for eating before or after the event. There is a parking lot around behind the building, or you can park on the street.
