Just a reminder to everyone that this Saturday December 11th is the Grand Opening of the new home of Los Angeles' popular Saturday milonga El Encuentro.
In addition to celebrating having our very own studio, El Encuentro will also be presenting our 2nd annual commemoration of the International Day of Tango and Carlos Gardel's birthday. We are thrilled to present San Francisco's TRIO GARUFA making their Southern California debut. We will also honor four of L.A.'s original milonga organizers. This not-to-be-missed event will be an important part of L.A.'s tango history. So please join us for a memorable night of dancing to the splendid music of Trio Garufa and share with us our joy at being in our new home. And don't miss the exciting musicality workshop Trio Garufa will present the next day, Sunday - 12:20pm to 2:30pm. This is a rare opportunity to take this always popular workshop presented by musicians who are also dancers. It will take your dancing to another level.
