Julian and Claudia have developed a reputation as outstanding performers and
teachers
which have earned them numerous engagements in the U.S. and throughout the
world,
including Mexico, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei, Hawaii and the Philippines.

World-renowned performers and instructors from Buenos Aires who have
contributed greatly to
their knowledge of the Argentine Tango include: Mariela Franganillo, Jorge
Torres, Susana Miller,
Fabian Salas, Gustavo Naveira and many others. Each of these great teachers
from Buenos Aires
who have their own unique way of dancing have ultimately influenced Julian
and Claudia's own
signature style. The versatility of their self expression is one that can
reflect the unique and innate
qualities of a true milonguero style, raw and understated, with a profound
subtle interpretation of
music, to a more modern version incorporating highly innovative complex
patterns with sensual and
dynamic movements. They have developed a teaching method that emphasizes the
biomechanics
of leading and following with proper posture, balance and musicality---the
foundation of every style.
This allows their students to be versatile and open-minded to the variety of
tango styles so that, in the
end, they too may develop their own mode of dancing. The philosophy of their
teaching is to guide the
students to clearly see the basics within the complicated patterns of the
Argentine Tango, making their
progress and the dance itself easy and exciting.

Julian & Claudia are very active in the Bay Area tango community, teaching
daily and hosting milonga
and other activities. Visit their website at:
