Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, Tom has already posted the information about the festival today and I wanted to summarize the schedule as we have it so far so that you have make your travel plans early. Here is what the schedule looks like:
Tuesday, May 24 - Tango Colorado practica with Julio and Corina and possibly other visiting teachers in attendance Wednesday, May 25: private lessons with J & C during the day 7--8:30PM - Master class with J & C at the Tango House 8:30PM - midnight or later - PRACTICA at The Tango House hosted by Chas Gale Thursday, May 26: Private lessons with J & C during the day 7- 9PM - Advanced semi-private master class with J & C for 10 couples only at the Tango House 9PM - 2AM - MILONGA at the Tango House hosted by Chas Gale Friday, May 27: Private lessons with J & C during the day 7-8:30PM - Master class with J & C at the Tango House 9:30PM - 2AM - Milonga at the Mercury Cafe with a tango show by Julio Balmaceda and Corina de la Rosa, and possible live music by tango orquesta Extasis (to be confirmed). Saturday, May 28: 1PM - 5PM - Master classes with Julio and Corina at the Mercury Cafe 12PM - 6PM - Master classes with Brigita Winkler, Alex Krebs and Hsueh-tze Lee at the Doubletree Hotel 9PM - until we can't dance anymore - MILONGA at the Doubletree Hotel hosted by Tom Stermitz Sunday, May 29: 1PM - 5PM - Master classes with Julio and Corina at the Mercury Cafe 12PM - 5PM - Master classes with Brigita Winkler, Alex Krebs and Hsueh-tze Lee at the Doubletree Hotel 5PM - 10PM - OUR REMARKABLE ANNUAL MILONGA AT THE WHITE MARBLE PAVILION at Cheesman Park hosted by Tango Colorado. 11PM - 6AM - An ALL NIGHT milonga at the Doubletree Hotel hosted by Tom Stermitz Monday, May 30: 1-5PM - Advanced Master classes with Julio and Corina Monday evening - Milonga at the Tango House (to be confirmed). So, as you can see, you can dance for a week, all day every day! I will post an exact list of classes as soon as I am finished with it, but you can count on this schedule as these events have been confirmed.
