The founder of BAILATANGO, METIN YAZIR, is back to Boston!
Dear All,
A renowned instructor, the founder of Bailatango, Metin Yazir will be in
Boston on March 4th, 5th and 6th and will give
series of workshops. He will be teaching a total of nine hours of intensive
Tango, Vals and Milonga.
On March 4th, our regular monthly milonga, "Bailatango Milonga", will feature
performances by Metin and by other Bailatango
instructors who are going to join us here in Boston for this special weekend.
If you have never taken a class with Metin , take advantage of this
opportunity to learn tango from this wonderful instructor. His unique
teaching style will make this weekend a fantastic learning experience in a
relaxed and low pressure atmosphere.
Metin makes tango easy, comfortable and fun and is able to transfer the
concepts of the dance to their students with ease and confidence.
Learning from Metin will make a difference in your tango skills!
>From Eray Yuksek:
I am very proud and very excited to announce the weekend of workshops & shows
with METIN YAZIR on March 4th, 5th, 6th!
This weekend will be a very special one for me because Metin Yazir is the one
from whom I learned almost everything I know about Tango. His teaching
technique is *unique*, which makes tango very simple, clear and comfortable.
Rather than teaching steps and patterns, Metin conveys to his students
specific tango concepts, giving them all the ingredients that make up a great
tango dance, from basic to the most intricate.
I strongly believe that Metin is a *NOT-TO-BE-MISSED* opportunity for any
tango dancer.
I and many others learned from him in a *very short time*, why can't you...

What did others say about Metin?:
A tremendous teacher who has really studied the craft of teaching and how
students learn. He uses imagery and metaphor sometimes humorous, sometimes
sexual, to get his point across. His life story is an inspiration to anyone
who feels lost or confused. He was one of the main originators of tango in
Turkey, a country where he says he is treated like royalty with movie cameras
following him around wherever he goes
Metin, the magician, dances with particular sensitivity and musicality
he makes even beginners look elegant and beautiful. Metin has an exceptional
talent as teacher: he will introduce to you the secrets of lead and follow
with a very precise observation of individual problems and with lots of
humor, energy and temperament...
