3p-4:30pm: CLOSE EMBRACE ESSENTIALS - the way it’s done in Buenos Aires.
All levels. Improve your balance, musicality, lead and follow; learn the
moves that distinguishes Argentine Tango from every other dance.
4:45p-6:15: MILONGA TRASPIE – for Intermediate dancers; Syncopation,
Rhythmic footwork, Musicality
8p-9p- Intro to Tango Class w/Ruben
9p- MILONGA! With demo, buffet, door prizes; Classic and new tango, plus
salsa breaks by DJ Inez
Non-Members-$25 per workshop, 2 workshops @ $45, w/milonga -$55
Members- $20 per workshop, 2 workshops @ $ 35, w/milonga - $45

Ruben 'Milonga' Terbalca was born and grew up dancing tango in the
neighborhoods of Buenos Aires, eventually becoming professor of tango at
the Bs As. Tango University . Ruben is an ‘old guard' milonguero and
respected hisotrian of tango who brings a wealth of experience and
information about tango dance styles, music and customs to his classes.
He is widely- known as a very generous and precise teacher, and exciting
dancer (wait ‘til you see his milonga..)! His knowledge is vast, his
embodiment of the tango deeply passionate and original. Ruben's classes
focus on musicality, balance, connection, simplicity and economy of
movement as needed on crowded dance floors. You will definitely leave
his class a better dancer!!
