Dear Tangeros and Friends, We are happy to announce ARGENTINE TANGO EVENINGS at the wonderful MYSTAGOGIA MUSIC CAFE, Nicosia, old town (46 Areos Str.), starting from the coming Sunday - the 10th of April 2005!
THE PROGRAM: - Tango lesson for beginners 20pm - 21pm - Milonga (a tango dancing party) 21pm - ... COME ALONG AND BRING YOUR FRIENDS!!! if you do not know how to get there - please see directions below: Mystagogia music cafe, 46 Areos St. How to get there from Limassol: - Motorway straight into Nicosia - Continue straight at Woolworth (Hermes) traffic lights on Makarios Ave. - At the next traffic lights on Makarios Ave. (Bank of Cyprus) turn right - Follow the road as it curves to the right, and at the next traffic lights go left (Bouboulinas St.) - At the next traffic lights (Doros Loizou Square) go straight into the old city - At the roundabout with the small fountain turn right (third exit) - To your right there is a big parking lot, park in there - Coming out of the parking lot, in front of you there is a shop M.Geo. Car Accessories. To its left are some steps, go down them to Xanthis Xenierou St., and Areos St. and Mystagogia Music Cafe will be right in front of you. How to get there from the Ayios Dometios checkpoint: - Out of the checkpoint turn right towards the south entrance to the chekpoint; follow the road as it curves left - At the next traffic lights you should have Diomedes Restaurant on the corner to your left. Turn left. - Drive straight for about 2km. to the next traffic lights. Elite Gym should be on the corner to your right. Go straight. - At the next traffic lights drive straight over the bridge - You should then reach the Paphos Gate roundabout. Take the third exit to keep going straight - Keep going straight over the next three traffic lights (Lloyd George square, Solomou Square, Eleftheria Square) - At the next traffic lights (Doros Loizou Square) turn left into the old city - That takes you to the small roundabout with the fountain, see above How to get there from Ledra Palace checkpoint: - From the Ledra Palace checkpoint turn left towards Paphos Gate roundabout - At the Paphos Gate roundabout take the second exit. Thereafter see above How to get there from Nicosia: - Park in the OXI parking lot on the Venetian wall - Look for the steps to the left of M. Geo. car accessories and go down them (see above)
