Pittsburgh Tangueros hosts an Alex Krebs and Florencia Taccetti Workshop
Alex Krebs is one of the more popular, book-way-in-advance tango teachers
around. Alex teaches Argentine tango for the social dance floor, emphasizing
the improvisational side of the dance through strong communication between the
lead and follow, as well as musicality. His objective is to give his students
the vocabulary necessary for each person to find their own unique way of
dancing — the tango of their own body.

Florencia Taccetti, who often teaches with Alex, has been dancing tango since
1985.  She danced in the movie Tango Bar; partnered Pablo Veron on tour;
partnered Pepito Avelleneda in Brussels and Gustavo Naveira in Buenos Aires;
and toured with Daniel Trenner. She has a reputation for teaching great
technique, embellishments and musicality to both followers and leaders.
Florencia works to develop the subtle communication between partners in which
both lead and follow find space to be active and passive, and to develop their
sensuality and grace of movement.
