Ney Melo is among the best of the new generation of Argentine Tango dancers. His "close-embrace" tango style mixes traditional and nuevo tango. He studied in Buenos Aires, and was influenced early on by Chicho Frumboli, Roberto Herrera, & the Pugliese family (Mingo, Ester, & Pablo). Ney has become a highly requested teacher for his innovative teaching methods and passion for teaching. This year alone, Ney has completed a teaching tour of Singapore, Kuala Lampur, and Sydney and taught at the Portland and Washington DC Festivals.
