Don't miss Brooke Burdett's one month in the United States - May 12 ? June
8

Brooke Burdett is known for her leap across continents in the mid-1990s that
took her
from the Denver area on a ''tango calling'' to Buenos Aires where she
currently resides. Brooke, along with other core members, started the
tango community in Colorado, and she is responsible for helping ignite new
tango communities around the United States. The instructional videos she
made with Daniel Trenner are some of the most widely viewed on the market,
and the video she made with Mariano Frumboli (better known as "Chicho")
was one of the first to articulate groundbreaking concepts of what some
people know now as ''new tango''. An expert follower AND leader, Brooke
has studied and danced socially with some of the world's top tango
masters. Women and men from around the globe have wanted to study with
Brooke for her sinuous body movement and orginal footwork, as well as for
her ability to simplify the complexities of tango into easy-to-understand
images and allegories. Brooke teaches and performs tango in Buenos Aires,
where she lives with her Argentine husband and daughter.
