Dear Friends, It's less than two weeks away, the Meet in the Middle, Aug 5-7. Southern Missouri, the demographic center of Tango, and our middles, that's where we meet when we dance.
Come join us, the LED sign is scrolling names from all over Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, Illinois, Georgia, Texas, Louisana, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennesee, and Florida. We need our neighbors from the North and West to balance out the group. Internationally we have Russia and South Africa up in lights. It's not too late to register, bring your credit card to pay when you come( tell me ahead for the caterers). Cost is 145 for the full meal deal. $95 for students. Also cheap motel (34.99). Or free floor, you can't beat that. You can't beat the quality of instruction: Robert Hauk and Barbara Durr, Robin Thomas and Jennifer Bratt (the original Bratt Camp), all dedicated to get you dancing, socially. If you've been dancing for years, but still can't dance, they will show you the way. A way to get you through a whole song without stopping, a way to experience the whole floor as a second partner, and detailed insturction for the fast track way to tango heaven. The quality of dancing will be high, lots of teachers coming so you can count on some good dances. Live tango orchestra also makes it for a magicial weekend.
