(only logical) Starting next Wed, Sept. 14 PLEASE JOIN ME FOR THE OPENING NIGHT HERE IN MY HOOD at the East Village Ukrainian Restaurant 140 2nd Ave Bet. 8th and 9th Sts $10 including classesdance til midnight! 6:30 Beginner class with Lexa Rosean (she¹s in my hood, too) 7:30 Inter/advanced with Armando Orzuza If you know these folks you know these classes will be very helpful, and very inspiring!! And the whole evening fun. Armando says he will do 1/2 the class on tango and milonga rhythms and technique, Second 1/2 will be on milonga traspie. If you do not yet know Armando, he is a major talent and tango force and we are terribly lucky that he and Daniela have settled in our community!!! And he always makes you welcome with a gorgeous smile! DJ Yesim, La Tuca, spins her magical platters for our dancing pleasure! Very inexpensive, good eats and a bar---come early to try their pirogis, potato pancakes, Borscht etc! NOTE: PLEASE SUPPORT THE RESTAURANTS AND BARS WHICH WELCOME DANCERS BY DINING &/OR DRINKING THERE WHEREVER AND WHENEVER YOU CAN! Not lots of places want us because dancers are not known for eating and drinking-- So if we want to save this good place for us folks, please think upon this. NO HANGING BACK IF YOU HAVE EVER FOUND MILONGAS DAUNTING!!!! This will be a friendly atmosphere!
