Dear Tango Friends; More exciting news about the Second Southern Tango Social, to be held in Atlanta April 6-9 2006. ------------------------------------------------------------ HOTEL UPDATE:
After selling out the original block of rooms, we just opened a larger block at the Holiday Inn Select in Decatur (130 Clairemont Ave. Decatur, GA 30030, 404-371-0204). The hotel agreed to keep the discount rate for all the reservations made by MARCH 25th, however we encourage everybody to make the their reservations as soon as possible, to ensure the discount rate of $79/night (mention Atlanta Tango Festival when making reservations). The hotel is located in Downtown Decatur, one of the most dynamic neighborhoods in Metro Atlanta (www.decaturga.com). There is a direct subway connection from the airport (no need for a car) and it is surrounded by local restaurants and shops. Also, If you like to share a room and want us to help find a roommate, please let us know as soon as possible. We already received some request, and we will try to help everybody in a "first come first served" basis. We also arranged the instalation of a hard wood dacing floor in the main ballroom of the hotel, as big as the one we had last year to be used for workshops and milongas. Attendance is expected to be be bigger, but there will be enough space for everybody to dance. ---------------------------------------------------------- TEACHERS UPDATE: PRIVATE CLASSES Teachers will be available for privates during the days of the festival in a limited basis.
